-His dad, the author Randal Keynes is Charles Darwin's great-great-grandson and a great-nephew of John Maynard Keynes. Charles' wife was his first cousin Emma Wedgewood (1807-1892), granddaughter of Josiah Wedgwood, founder of the pottery firm that still bears his name. Margaret Wedgwood, Annie Darwin's first cousin, was the mother of Ralph Vaughn Williams. In fact Sophy Wedgwood, Annie's double first cousin, gave Vaughn Williams his first music lessons. And Charles' and Emma's daughter Margaret Elizabeth Darwin married Geoffrey Keynes, brother of the famous economist John Maynard Keynes, and became the grandmother of Randal Keynes.

Bio:
-At first, Skandar just had 3 small movie parts.
-After going through a year of casting, he landed the role which he is most famous for. Edmund Pevensie in the 2005 hit movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, based on the books by C.S. Lewis.
-Narnia was such a sucess, that they will be doing a sequel called 'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian' (2007). Skandar will reclaim his role as Edmund in that film, along with the rest of the Pevensie children.
First Got Into Acting:
-His acting debut was in a TV film "Macbeth RSC Recording" as the a young boy in rags that was running down a hall which he was payed 25 pounds for doing.
-After filming that, he next appeared in "The Victorians" as a poor boy who had small pox.
-He landed a small part in the movie 'Ferrari' (2003) playing the role of Young Ferrari at age 8.
